Eat a Rainbow Every Day

Subjects tackled through activities includes art, language proficiency and teamwork.

The "Eat a Rainbow Every Day" challenge consists of three posters, two worksheets, one homework sheet and one "Why This Matters" information sheet.

Let kids get a colorful and nutritionally diverse introduction to Food Heroes that encourages eating a variety of foods with the "Eat a Rainbow Every Day" challenge! Children will describe how to unlock the Rainbow Table, recognize the world of the Food Heroes and their personalities, identify a Power Card, name the parts of the Menu Map, understand that it is better to eat many colors of foods every day, describe the role of a Food Hero Buddy, distinguish between a real Rainbow Food and a fake Rainbow Food and identify where different foods belong on the Menu Map.
